When one of our skilled providers injects Xeomin into the targeted muscles, the chemical blocks the muscles’ ability to communicate. As a result of this lack of communication, your muscles are temporarily not able to contract. This allows the skin that lies above that muscle to soften and relax.
A Xeomin appointment at Von & Co Medical Aesthetics Studio takes up to 30 minutes to complete.
Guests usually need 1 session for a complete treatment of Xeomin. Each guest’s unique concerns and needs will determine the amount of Xeomin needed and the number of treatment areas on the face.
Most guests do not require any downtime after receiving Xeomin in Naples. At most guests may want to sit and rest (but not lie down) for an hour afterwards.
We have a few guidelines for our guests after their Xeomin treatment in Naples.
- For 4 hours after a treatment of Xeomin, we ask that guests avoid making large facial movements and lying down. Keeping your head elevated above your heart keeps the product in its intended location.
- For 24 hours after treatment, we encourage guests to avoid heavily touching or massaging the treated area to prevent the toxin from spreading to unintended muscles.
- For 24 hours after treatment, we also ask guests to avoid strenuous exercise including lifting weights, running or any other activity that raises your heart rate or involves moving your head below your heart, such as yoga.
You should be able to see the initial results within 2 days and full results 14 days after getting Xeomin in Naples. Neurotoxins have a gradual effect on muscles, so it takes time for results to appear.
In general, the results from your Xeomin treatment at Von & Co should last 3 to 6 months depending on how quickly your body metabolizes neurotoxins and on other factors such as how strong your facial muscles are and how much product you receive during treatment.
